The Rock And Worship Roadshow
This week I have seen the distinct contrast between how winter weather effects different regions of the country. This past Tuesday, we had two inches of snow in Atlanta and the entire city was crippled. People were calling it Snowjam '14 and the Snowpocalypse. Today in Michigan, they had a couple inches of snow and people were calling it Saturday.
Being honorary Michiganders for the day, we didn't let the snow bring us down. A few of us went and enjoyed the goodness that it Red Lobster. We missed LobsterFest by two days, but it was still pretty great.
After lunch we came back to the venue and worked on some new music. The general plan is that sometime in the not-too-distant future we're going to record some new songs. Every day like today makes me more confident in this plan becoming a reality.
The show tonight was really great. I joked and said we're having The Roadshow on Ice. The good folks of Michigan came out in force, and they were loud. We've made a few tweaks to the show over the last several days, and it feels like it's getting dialed in. The video elements seem to add a lot. We've been playing Tunnel for the last few nights, and I think we finally nailed it tonight. And, of course, favorites like I Need a Miracle and I Gotta Feelin were well received.
Well we're about to hit the road and head towards the house. Here's hoping the weather cooperates! Happy Super Bowl Sunday. I hope your team wins. We'll catch up with you in a few days...
