WOW!!! Third Day finally in my home town!! Thanks for being here, never dreamed you'd actually be this close!! The Show was awesome!! Brought 7 friends with me to share the joy you all bring me! They all enjoyed singing praises and worshiping though your music including my Preacher & his family who also enjoyed getting to meet you guys in the M&G!
Speaking of the M&G's, Thanks sooo very much for posing in the WIRED picture like the design Barb painted on my Gomer shirt & also for autographing my guitar!! So glad to call you guys friends!! Thanks for the smiles & guitar picks too!!
Finally thanks for the Awesome chance to help with the load out!! ( A dream come true!!) WOW! Your Crew is fantastic! Really great people to work with! They made the hard work seem like FUN! I would definitely do that again if needed & have a greater appreciation for the people behind the scenes & how they help make this all possible!
Thanks once again Third Day for being the awesome men of God that you are! You are a blessing to your fans & I for one will always be grateful!
Make Your Move Tour
Well, Today was the first day back after a pretty extensive break for the Dove Awards and Easter. The band flew in to Chicago and then hopped on our tour bus to roll into Valparaiso, In. This afforded us the opportunity to take a little nap before the show.
We got on stage and worked on "Everywhere You Go" as it has been requested a lot. It just wasn't happening. It felt pretty linear. So, we'll have to give it some thought on how it would work live, or just leave it as one of those tracks for the album, but not for live.
We rolled right into a Q&A and Wired session. Then, the show began. We watched the Hawks game up to half time. Then, we did the show. Tonight was the first time we've used the slideshow of "adopted" families submitted by Third Day fans on the video for our tour. It was pretty moving to me.
After the show, we saw the Hawks beat the Magic, then I hit the hay.
