I have seen NeedtoBreathe, Switchfoot, and ThirdDay in the last nine days. ThirdDay was the star on top of my tree. The Meet & Greet was a little rushed, like an assembly line. I felt bad for the couple behind us, it was their first time and they were disappointed. Thats not on the guys, they are always very cordial and sign anything you poke at them.
The music, the ministry never fall short. ThirdDay delivers. The sound mix was good, the crowd animated.
I enjoyed hearing the new stuff live. Move is a GREAT album. Scarfed a Tai Anderson Pic at the end so Christmas came early and often for me.
I again started the day with a jog around South Florida University. It started raining during the jog. So, when I returned, I looked very impressive like I had run 12 miles or so, even though I only did 3. I had the runner take me over the Harley Davidson shop where I rented a Sportster and drove around all day. I went over to Clearwater and rode by the water, and then just strolled around town.
I had planned on doing a country ride through the swamp, but instead built up my in the city comfort level on the bike. It was nice to feel personal mobility on the road, two things that don't normally go together.
When I returned, it was time to start the Falcons/Bucs game. We found it strange to be in Tampa while our Falcons were playing Tampa and hoped it wouldn't lead to a hostile crowd, but then again, the real die hard fans would be at the game.
We couldn't watch it all because we had our Wired meet and Greet and a show to do. So, we paused it for after the show.
Again, it was a great show. It has felt really nice to do our own show. It felt like we got to play just long enough, and the night had a nice pace.
After the show, we watched the end of The Falcons game. It was a nail biter, but our team pulled it out. Then, we hung out with Trevor Morgan and talked about what we needed to do to finish up his record for next year.
It was a great run.
