The meet and greet proved that Third Day is a band using their music to do God's will. They are humble and personable and gave so much to the WIRED fans, even though their day was full of family and work. Thanks for the one on one time with your fans...I wanted to say so much more to you so you would know how much your music means to me...I guess we save that for the next meet and greet :-)
ARCHIVED TOUR DATE
Today was one of those hectic days where we tried to mix family fun with our jobs. All of us brought at least some kids down to Florida for the day. Mark and David were down for the week for some family vacation. Mac and I each brought one of our sons to enjoy the park before our show at Rock the Universe. We wore ourselves out going from one end of Universal and Islands of Adventure to another. Don't worry. Mac was still able to make it back to watch his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide. We all rested up a bit in the late afternoon and got ready for a great show. Our fans and the band were both crammed into a smaller area than we normally play at Universal. But, it made for some great energy. We brought Marcus from Brazil to sing with us on Cry Out to Jesus in Portuguese, and of course Trevor joined us for Jesus Rides the Subway and God of Wonders. We were trying to abide by our strict time limit. However, the crowd demanded another song. So, we came up and played Gone, one of our favorites. Thank you for a great night.
