This was my first Third Day show after listening to them for more than a decade. I was so fortunate to get to meet them before the concert and tell the guys how much my kids have loved their music in that time. My pic with them is plastered on the FB page:
Well, Night Of Joy it was! Almost every band member had been at Disney for several days already by the time we played. They all brought their families down to enjoy a little vacation time and to see Mickey and all of his pals. This can sometimes prove to be a distraction when a show is involved because they are being pulled between work and family. However, tonight, they all seemed in great spirits and ready to rock! The crew was a little tired after having been at the castle from about 1:00am - 6:00am the night before but once things got going, everyone seemed to be firing on all cylinders. The rain decided to hold out too. Which may be a first for us at this show. Anyway, the crowd was great and the band seemed to be having a lot of fun. That is about all you can ask for. This was also the last show for the guys this year, and my last show for who knows how long. They will be touring next year and I have to stick around town to keep the interwebs going for them. I had a great time being back out doing shows with everyone. Thanks to all that came out to support us this summer! See ya next year sometime!
