I woke up bright and early today in Monroe to find the bus parked by the hotel. I chose to stay at the hotel to do some interviews, shower, and write a paper for school. Then, I headed back to the venue to find a room where we wouldn't be able to hang anything from the ceiling. (no rigging) So, we had to scale back the show, and make our video screen more dominant. The whole visual conceptualization of this tour has centered around not having video be dominant, but bringing the focus to the music, and great lighting. But, oh well. We adjusted, and with good internet speed were able to download some cool clips to help with the show.
Mac spent most of the day recovering from the bug he had in Jackson. He was 100% by show time. We all seemed to play well, and a good time was had by all. Surrender and Make Your Move were probably the highlights for the night.
I went right to bed after the show to avoid the after show food.
But, I've woken up refreshed and ready for a great show in Dallas.
