This was my fifth Third Day concert- my FIRST WIRED concert :) by far the BEST Third Day concert I've been to (not just bcuz I got to meet them, either :] ) The energy and the worship was AMAZING. Third Day has always been and will always be my absolute FAVORITE Christian band. The ONLY thing disappointing about this show was that it had to END!! Really wish there were more Third Day shows near here to go to!
Make Your Move Tour
Today was one of those rare opportunities to get a little extra time at home. I drove my family back home after the Greenville, SC show last night. So, I woke up in my own bed that was not moving 80 miles an hour. I think most of the other guys hopped off the bus in the middle of the night. My wife and I got all the kids to church ON TIME. She was volunteering with the kids. So, I sat in church by myself. The music and message really hit the spot. I rushed home and grabbed Cole and Kai to hop on the bus with me to ride to Macon. My friend Danny hopped along as well. It was a short ride down. When we got there, Nigel led as many as could attend in a brief devotion talking about the fickleness of the crowd. On Palm Sunday, they were worshipping Jesus. A few days later they were shouting, "Crucify Him!" Could it have been some of the same people? We then headed to a long Q&A session and wired meet and greet. The show had already started when we were done. Finally, we hit the stage. We're probably going to start shaking up the set a bit when we hit the road again in a couple weeks. But, for now, it was nice to just execute the set really well. The crowd was not huge, but they were certainly loud and made us feel welcome.
