Third Day continues to impress me more and more each time I see them...another awesome night in Louisville!! Also had the special treat of seeing Mark Lee up close when he spoke to local worship leaders.
The Rock And Worship Roadshow
Louisville, Kentucky. We have had some of our better shows in recent memory here, including a great show back in the spring at Southeastern Christian Church. So it was with great anticipation that The Roadshow rolled into town today.
Today was a good day. Nigel and I met with one of the guys from Logos Bible Software, who gave us a tour of their amazingly robust software package. If you are a pastor or student or, like me, somebody who just wants to get in The Word more, I can't recommend it enough.
Fridays on tour are good days to get out and do stuff. Tai went to the gym. Scotty, Nigel, and myself then went to the movies. The theatre was across the river in Indiana. It's a rare day when you get to visit two states! We saw the new Jack Ryan film and it was pretty good.
We had a ton of friends in attendance. Some folks drove up from Nashville, including our tour manager Lott's family as well as our booking agent and several people from Nashville. Hey, Bart from MercyMe was even there.
We just got off stage, and all I can say is, wow. Tonight was one of those nights where a lot of things seemed to come together to make it one we won't soon forget. The show was in the beautiful new KFC Center in downtown Louisville. The place was packed, and the audience was loud and crazy.
We expected big things from Louisville, and you did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back!
