The Miracle Tour
Louisville, KY will go down as probably the best show of this tour and one of the best of our career. And it wasn't just because there were a lot of people, which there were. I think it was the combination of the show falling at the right point in the tour with us having a bunch of special friends in the audience, combined with us having a little bit of a "rough" show the night before. All of these things combined to create the environment for a special show.
The weather was kind of nasty in Louisville, so not too many of us got out. Mac and Tai went to lunch with our buddy pastor Dave Stone from Southeastern Church, followed by some epic ping pong. David, Nigel, and myself engrossed ourselves watching Sherlock on the bus. Oh, and I went Mother's Day shopping :)
Besides Dave Stone, we also had our good friend Pete HIse from Quest Church in Lexington. Also Chris Carder, a singer songwriter who massively inspired us when we were first starting out, was in the audience. Not to mention Shawn McSpadden and Jenni Tackett from our management company.
So with all those friends in the audience to inspire us, and over 7000 people in attendance, and with us having a lot to prove, all the elements were there for a memorable show.
Oh and it was WJIE's 25th birthday. Happy birthday WJIE!!!
