Wow! Mac sorry you got sick in MS. I pray you are better now. I'll be at the show in Grand Prairie, Texas Saturday with my family. Can't wait to see you guys. Don't eat any bogus Tex Mex before you go on stage. Just sayin'. LOL! Love y'all! Joy :)
Make Your Move Tour
Yesterday was definitely a show we'll always remember. I'm not sure if it will be for the right reasons. We arrived to a beautiful day in Jackson, MS. Mac and Scotty headed off to watch a movie while the rest of worked on our school work, some software for the live audio, and some other stuff to prepare for the show. Then, we all went for a jog through a bit of the rough part of town.
We came across a lot of land that was right next to the highway, next to power lines, and basically a swamp. There was a for sale sign by the road. Any ideas what you could do with such a lot?
Anyway, we soundchecked, and everything was sounding great, but Mac was feeling tired and weak. By show time, you could tell that Mac was out of it, and his stomach was hurting.
The show started and I don't know if the audience could tell because his singing was fine, but he was really hurting. By the end of the set, we had to make a few cuts. Then when we went backstage, Mac made his moves to the bathroom. We'll keep it family friendly here, but let's just say Mac was letting go of everything that he had eaten in the past 24 hours.
We didn't know what to do. So, we hit the stage with Trevor Morgan filling in for Mac on Your Love Oh Lord. Then, Mac made it back to the stage so we could end with Children of God. I hope Mac is feeling better for tomorrow's show.
