I was REALLY unhappy with the meet and greet. There were signs that said "this is not a life story line, it's not a photograph line, it's an autograph line". That's just a rude way to start. Then the band came in and acted like they didn't want to be there. Mac was nice, but Tai said "I just want to get this thing over with". Great and Thanks! Sorry we bothered you by waiting for you to get done playing playstation long enough for us to get quickly run through a line where we were repeatedly told to "keep it moving, don't stop for pictures". The meet and greet had more than expected? Maybe you could have started earlier. We love you guys, but if you're having a bad day (and I know there are difficulties playing at Life Changers) just stay on the bus. It might not be fair, but as Christians you guys are an example ALWAYS! "I just want to get this over with" is an unacceptable attitude. Also, the concert was AWESOME! I really do love you guys, but I think I'll pass on future "meet and greets".
The Miracle Tour
Today was a fairly chill day for most of us. David and Brian Bunn rode the train into Chicago and went to a music store. The rest of the band hung out at the hotel, had some lunch, and did a little bit of shopping. Mother's Day is just around the corner!
Meet and greet was great tonight, albeit a little long. Thanks to everyone who came out, and thanks for your patience as we had a larger than expected response to the VIP meet and greet. We love meeting everybody, and greatly appreciate those who are willing to wait in line to see us!
The show tonight ended up being great, but started out a little slow. On the first song, Tai was having some issues with his bass, and our wireless monitor units were going crazy. It is always difficult when you're having issues right out of the gate like that. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost. Oh wait sorry wrong story. At any rate, we rallied together and pulled it off. Thanks to the enthusiastic audience, we ended up having a great show.
Thanks so much to the good people of Illinois for coming out in droves to support us tonight. Alright, let me get back to eating this Giordano's pizza. Until next time...
