Day 2 of Third Day back to back concerts for me!! The stage was quite a change from the night before when I got to be part of the load out crew! I now take more notice of the props & stuff on the stage!! (I gained a new insite to the way things are set up!) Even though things were close quarters, Third Day still ROCKS! Enjoyed the show especially getting to hear, "I'll Be Your Miracle" live! (My fav song off of MOVE)!
Had a great time hanging with my Gomer buds too! Was even surprised to find out some of us had seats right next to each other! (You all know who you are! )
The biggest surprise was to be found in the bag I had brought along to carry my stuff in! It was on the floor way up behind the seat in front of me & to my surprise at the end of the show , I look down into it & found a Mark Lee guitar pick!! Don't know how Mark managed to hit that bag, but I am soo glad he did!! Thanks, Mark for your "mad skills", as you call it!!
Thanks again Third Day for another awesome night to praise the Lord in song through your music!
Make Your Move Tour
The crew worked really hard to squeeze our show into the Life Changers Church in Hoffman Estates, IL. It was a pretty tough room. The church is a beautiful facility, but there is a big slap back in the room, and no way to rig our backdrops. so, it was challenging.
I think it might be time to find someone else to journal as I tend to skip out on the excursions. I believe the rest of the guys went out to eat at a fancy restaurant. I stayed back and worked on my upcoming paper due next week.
We did a noon photo booth. Then, there was a small window before the Q&A and the Wired meet and greet. Then, the show. I really enjoyed the show despite the production challenges.
It was fun to be so close to the audience. I could see people really having a great time. After the show, we watched the Memphis Grizz defeat San Antonio. We've always liked the Spurs since meeting David Robinson a few years back. But, were excited to see Memphis play so well.
