I've never been disappointed in a show, and this one was no exception. Some of the things the "guys" are aware of as difficulties never seem to affect what we, the audience, sees! The energy was great, sounded amazing and I am reminded again why I love a Third Day show!! I apologize to David during the acoustic set, I went to take a picture and my flash went off and nearly blinded him. I was surprised they didn't take requests during the acoustic set, but I think there was a technical issue with the ear pieces. No matter, we left energized by this high energy worship service!
Make Your Move Tour
The crew worked really hard to squeeze our show into the Life Changers Church in Hoffman Estates, IL. It was a pretty tough room. The church is a beautiful facility, but there is a big slap back in the room, and no way to rig our backdrops. so, it was challenging.
I think it might be time to find someone else to journal as I tend to skip out on the excursions. I believe the rest of the guys went out to eat at a fancy restaurant. I stayed back and worked on my upcoming paper due next week.
We did a noon photo booth. Then, there was a small window before the Q&A and the Wired meet and greet. Then, the show. I really enjoyed the show despite the production challenges.
It was fun to be so close to the audience. I could see people really having a great time. After the show, we watched the Memphis Grizz defeat San Antonio. We've always liked the Spurs since meeting David Robinson a few years back. But, were excited to see Memphis play so well.
