Wow. I mean WOW!!!!!! I've been to 8 or 10 Third Day shows and I must say this was probably the best one I've seen. And that's saying a lot because every one have been great. In fact, I've been to many concerts through the years both secular and Christian and I can't remember ever enjoying a show as much as I enjoyed tonight. It sure lessened the pain of seeing the last few seconds of the Buckeyes getting knocked out of the tournament. Mac, you missed the end, didn't ya? What's amazing about these guys is I think they enjoy their fans as much as we enjoy them. It was great when they went out in the middle of the crowd for part of the show. Then we gotta a special treat by seeing an acoustic set in another part of the church after the main show was finished. And maybe the best thing about it was that our grandson attended tonight with us for the first time. He's probably Third Days biggest 5 year old fan. We no sooner had gotten in our car and he was asking us when are we gonna do this again. We haven't told him yet that we are planning to go to the Cincinnati show in May. Thanks Third Day for the entertainment and inspiration you bring to your fans. But most of all thanks for the Glory you bring to God.
Make Your Move Tour
Up until this point we've been just fine tuning the show. However, as we've finally gotten the show to a great place, we felt it was time to shake it up and start learning some new songs. We worked up "I'll be Your Miracle" for its live debut tonight here in Ohio, and I think it worked out pretty well. We also added "You Are So Good" back to the set after a brief hiatus.
I got up way to early to do South African interviews and my schoolwork. By the end of our show, I realized that I can't wake up at 6 AM and have all my energy for a show where we don't go on stage till 9 PM. I was wiped.
Mac seemed especially inspired by Trust in Jesus tonight. The show felt great, and I think more great things are to come.
Here are some great videos taken from the after show concert that some of the guys did in the children's church. Hope you like them
