Didn't take one picture nor video... just went for a nice relaxing evening to be able to worship and soak in some good time with God... he says to rest right? :-) Anyway, super happy you ventured to Grand Island.. not a bad place to come.. if you will notice, you can drive through Nebraska VERY quickly :-) not a lot of traffic! I really liked two things I wanted to share with you. I really enjoyed the prayer that night. Sometimes its just what you need.. to know you are sitting in a room with that many people all praying together. I also wanted to say that I like this webpage. I have not really ever looked at it but I really like the blog section. I did not realize you have a pastor traveling with you, but I think it is obvious that you spend much time worshiping together. I know when you were talking during the show you used some bible versus while speaking and just threw them in there! LOVED That! I believe I caught in there some where "his ways are higher than our ways." That's one of my favorite verses ... keep using it!! That verse got me through some really rough days! I love that you are really getting God's word out in many different ways. I'll pray that you continue to be a blessing to those you encounter on your tour and that God bless you also with lots of restful time along the way!
The Miracle Tour
First of all, let me get this out of the way. None of us had ever been to Grand Island, Nebraska before today, and with a name like that we were hoping beyond hope that there really might be a beach in Nebraska after all. I'm kidding of course. We had an amazing time in Nebraska today. To give you an idea, I'm wearing a Nebraska hat as I type this.
This afternoon most of the tour went bowling, We had an absolute blast. It has been great getting to know Josh and Colton (and Colton's band) over this tour, and today was another great memory. I'm sure you're wondering who won. We tied. Sort of. Third Day took the first game, and then the young whippersnappers took the second. Jared scored the high score of the day with a whopping 209. If this music thing doesn't work out for him maybe he's got a future on some bowling tour.
Another great show tonight. It's always humbling to go to a place we've never been and still see so many people worshiping God through our music. It's truly a blessing to be able to do what we do.
