This was the tenth time I have seen Third Day live. You guys never disappoint! I think I could hear you all live for 12 hours and still not think the set was long enough. LOL About two weeks before the show I was really stressed out over work, school, crazy schedule, selling our house, one of those you name it weeks. I told my husband I need this concert so bad, emotionally, spiritually and physically to just connect with God, rock out and completely enjoy myself and not think about anything else even if for one night. It was all accomplished! I love the new songs and haven't stopped listening to them in my car and on my ipod. Mac you do have the best voice I have ever heard and you are in the best band ever. Loved the energy of Tobymac, rocking out to Third Day and calming down with Michael Smith.
Make A Difference Tour
OCT 17 2010
Well, I was tired tonight. I think we all were. Being on Pacific Time has started to really get to us, and now it's time to head back to Atlanta. We took a little field trip today to a college called Grand Canyon University. It's a Christian College here in PHX that offers courses over the internet. Mark and I are thinking about finishing those degrees we neglected when we quit GA Tech for the band!
We got back for an awesome time of worship and Teaching with Max. Then, Nigel led the tour in communion. We have to say goodbye to Nigel for now. He's heading back to Wales till the Music Boat.
The show was good, but I was pretty tired. One of those days you try to just make it through, concentrate, and do your best. Seemed like a great Sunday Night crowd here in Glendale. We'll have to come back and give a full show.
