My second show, and it was my wife's first. She was loving every minute of it. The meet and greet was so fun, and to see the guys in the band interact with each other made me realized what a great brotherhood you guys have. (Perhaps that is why your music sounds so good). Bob the Comedian was awesome, and he only made the experience even more better.
We drove two and a half hours for this show, and it was so worth the drive.
Make Your Move Tour
OCT 16 2011
Council Bluffs, IA
Sorry this blog is being sent so late. I’ve never been one to point out blame so I wont mention Continental or how they flew me to Waco to sit on the runway for an hour and 20 minutes before finally taking me on to Houston where I was originally supposed to go. I dont feel it would be classy of me to mention that despite having sat in their plane for over 5 hours straight...not classy at all. What I will mention is that last nights show in Council Bluffs was my favorite so far. The crowd arrived early...which is nice for me since I go on 5 minutes before the actual start time. I was also amazed at how quickly the entire crowd jumped into all the worship sets singing together so well. They appeared to be more of a unified church choir than a normal concert crowd. I also think 10th Ave. North had their best show so far...Mike had family in the audience so maybe that’s what made them dial it up a notch. Or maybe they were just tired of me not mentioning them in this blog. I also felt like it was Third Day’s best set list so far. Its impressive that their show started out in Houston all ready pretty amazing but they continue to work and rework it everyday to give the crowd each night the best show they can...and last night they definitely achieved that. Now if you will excuse me, they’re opening the airplane door so I need to get my glare ready as I walk past the pilots.
