Last night was wonderful! It was so much fun! It was so nice to meet some of the people I've crossed paths with on the Gomer facebook page........that was fun. It was such an awesome night of worship. I loved that you played Thief......that is such a great song. It was the first time I had heard Bob Smiley, and he was great. He took the time to autograph my DVD..........my kids have watched it several times today, and laughed and laughed. I really enjoyed Trevor. Jesus Rides the Subway is such a thought provoking song. Tenth Avenue North is such a great band.......I loved their part of the concert. During the intermission between Tenth Avenue North's performance, and Third Day, some kids went to the edge of the stage, hoping to meet someone from Tenth Ave. Mike took the time to talk to them and sign autographs for them. This Third Day show, is more than just a show or a concert or show that you sit and listen to............with the lights and the changing backdrops, it was much more than that. The only way I can describe it is something that you experience......you don't just watch it. Mac, don't worry about talking too much during the concert! The things you share are so encouraging, and inspiring...........when I go to a Third Day concert, I feel like I'm in church. Thank you so much for such an encouraging evening!
Make Your Move Tour

Canton Civic Center
I met up with the guys in Third Day at the Atlanta airport to fly out to Canton, OH today. Living near the Atlanta airport, all the band guys are triple platinum Delta super-medallion members meaning they got bumped to first class, got a full meal...I think they were even allowed to take turns flying the plane. I have no clout on Delta. If they are platinum, I was aluminum. So I got a seat in the very back near the bathroom, the ice machine and some how the elevator. Third Day was being served warm cookies and milk while I had to take turns holding a chicken that belong to Big Buford, my seat mate. Ok. It wasn’t that bad and it didn’t matter once we all got off the plane. We had had a few days off and were now rested and ready to take our rock show (and hopefully comedy show) to the people of Ohio!
We played the civic center which looked like a mix between a big wooden gym and an old VFW. This old school venue trapped the sound very well making it easy to get lost in the great music! I think this was one of the best light shows the crew put on... so hats off to them. We also had a great response from the crowd for sponsorships through World Vision. So not only was it a great concert, many lives were saved tonight! Its a true testament to how awesome the people in Ohio are and their willingness to spread the love throughout the world. So all that being said, man, I wished I’d gotten bumped to first class. It sure looked like fun.
