The Miracle Tour
Great day in Bloomington, IL. We started things off with a little tour outing with all of Third Day plus Josh Wilson and a couple of guys from Colton's band. We went bowling a couple of weeks ago, so figured golf would be another great way to foster tour camaraderie while humiliating ourselves in public. This wasn't a full on, gotta wear a collared shirt, country club golf course, mind you. This was a par 3 cow pasture kind of joint. Much more our speed. I was definitely reminded of why I am a musician and not an athlete. But it was a lot of fun.
Bloomington has a cool downtown, and a lot of us walked around and checked out the local music stores and coffee shops. It was definitely a beautiful day for it.
The concert tonight was really great as well. We are about 38 shows into the tour, so one would hope we've got it dialed in pretty well! At this point in a tour, a lot of our excitement for the show happens when we feed off of the energy of the audience. We had a really good crowd which made for a fun show. Colton came out and did God of Wonders with us - that is becoming a show highlight. We also had Josh join us for I've Always Loved You again which was also a great moment.
Thanks again Bloomington for an amazing experience!
