Well, today was my first show back in a month. I felt a little rusty getting around the sound board but it all came back to me in no time. The crew had all day to load in and we were the only band playing so we could spread out and get things done without anyone breathing down our necks. That always makes for a nice day. The band flew in and were supposed to be on site by around 3:30 or so but due to some technical issues with their plane, they didn't arrive until about 5:00. That was no big deal. They still had time to eat some dinner and hang out with the Wired folks before taking the stage.
The crowd was great. I don't know how many times we have played at this Six Flags and the crowds are always great. Today though, seemed extra great. It was the first time that I can remember that it did not storm like crazy and the weather could not have been any better. The show sold out, not sure but this might be a first for this venue, and the crowd was on fire. The guys played for over an hour and a half. All in all, it was a great day.
