We had a great time in PCB today. The city was putting on a two day Christian festival for the city as a way to attract tourists to the area. Like a good tourist, I tried to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in PCB. I hopped off the bus and went for a nice jog in the already sweltering heat. Then, several of us went to hang out with our good friend, Peter Furler. The Newsboys took us out on the road when we were still kids. So, it was great to catch up as adults. We enjoy the beautiful beaches and ocean, and I worked the grill pretty nicely too. Then, we returned to the festival for a nice surprise. The original lineup for Petra was performing. I watched their entire set. The musicianship was just incredible. It brought me back to 2nd grade to hear some of the music I listened to as a kid. It was encouraging to seem them rocking, and watch another band that doesn't play to tracks! We had a great show in the heat. I felt like I sang better than ever with the moisture and warmth. We hopped on the bus and headed to Knoxville.
