Today was a pretty challenging, but rewarding day. This weekend started when we booked a private event for Chic-Fil-A's operator's convention. We didn't want to go all the way to San Antonio and just play a private show. So, we added a matinee show in San Antonio and the rest of the weekend. At one point, it would all be rolled into our Make A Move Tour, but some other shows fell through. So, the dates became more one offs, where we don't provide all the production, then full tour shows. However, as we stated before, we're trying to use the shows to work up some new stuff and help refine some things for the upcoming tour.
It was pretty ambitious, especially for the crew to try and set up the Chic Fil A show, then come over and get another show ready to go after just 3 hours, then go back to Chic Fil A and do another concert. However, they pulled it off!
We tried to just do our best and give great performances, praying that Mac's voice wouldn't burn out. I think the show went very well. There was just a great atmosphere in the church that day. The atmosphere was joyful, and celebratory. We enjoyed the Q&A session with the VIPers, and we saw a lot of familiar Wired fans who traveled great lengths to be at the show. Thank you.
We have chosen to upload the ChickfilA audio even though it doesn't match the setlist as a little bonus.
