This might be a tough journal entry to write. Today's show was another morning show. I've said before that rock and roll and the AM should only mix if you're doing a third encore. We got on the bus in ATL at midnight and hung out for a few minutes before hitting the hay. I've been battling a bit of a cold so I took a little bit of nyquil. Well, it worked. I'm normally the guy who is up at 7. But today, i didn't wake up till 9:30 and I felt like I was in a fog.Normally, I'd have all day to get it together. But, I think we were on stage at 11. I don't remember too much of the show. Just that we all played together pretty well for having so much time off. There were about 6,000 kids present. It's getting weird to think that many of our songs are older than the audience at these kind of conventions.Anyway, all the guys reported a good show even though Scotty was playing through a finger injury. We got on the bus and turned the back lounge to the ΘΔ fraternity house for GCU. Mark, David and I all just started taking college classes again with Grand Canyon University after a 16 year hiatus from higher education. We're all taking the same class to start with so we had a little study hall in the back lounge of the bus.
