Well, It happened again. Some major storms were blowing through ATL this morning right as we were taking off. We were grounded for about an hour. We were connecting in Dallas, and by the time we landed, our flight had already departed for Cedar Rapids. So, we talked our way on to a flight to Moline, IL. Unfortunately, there were only 4 seats. Scotty got left behind for a later flight to Cedar Rapids with our luggage. Hoard's flight was grounded in Chicago. So, he didn't make it to the show.
By the time we arrived at the venue, it was 6:15 and time for the VIP meet and greet. I was frazzled. It was one of those nights where you hope that the spirit does something because you just don't have a lot to give. We all got good attitudes and gave our best, but we were frazzled.
A pastor gave us a sermon a few years ago that all we can control is our attitude, our concentration, and our effort. So, we all set out to be A.C.E.s tonight.
We gave it all tonight, and the audience gave back. Thank You Iowa!
