Well after today, I can say this with certainty: the heart of rock and roll is still beating. In Cleveland.
This afternoon we had an amazing time of worship and fellowship with a tour church service. Nigel led us in a discussion of some of the key people who were at the crucifixion. We also shared in a time of prayer and communion.
The fun continued with a little field trip to the Dr. Z amp factory. I have been playing Dr. Z's for many years now, and there are few experiences that match being able to see the place where they make them. Most of the guitar players on the tour went, as well as several of the crew guys. The highlight was being able to test out several of the amps, including a new model called the Therapy. Thanks Dr. Z for your hospitality!
Another great show tonight. We've done a ton of shows lately, and it feels like we're playing better than we just about ever have. We continued with our special guests theme - Seth played guitar on Took My Place again and it was epic. Jen was back to sing on Born Again, and did an amazing job of singing. And, of course, Peter was in rare form tonight on I Am Free.
Well that does it for another great run of shows. We've got a couple days off. Next up - Greenville, South Carolina on Thursday!
