We played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse last fall with Women of Faith, and it's great to be back. This is one of the nicest venues we've played. We had quite a few friends in attendance tonight, including some from the Colts organization. I love the interaction and mutual respect that happens between athletes and musicians, although I think we got the easier end of the deal. If I miss a note, there's not another dude waiting on the sidelines to take my place!
It was a great show in front of a big crowd in Indy. While it's hard to pinpoint a favorite song, Tunnel makes a worthy candidate. It's the perfect balance between a rock song that we all love to play and a message that the audience wants to hear. I might be a little biased though, because I enjoy the guitar solo :)
After the show, several of us went across town and saw a friend from Nashville perform. Andrew Ripp is an amazing singer/songwriter who writes some big ol' songs. If you've never heard him before, you owe it to yourself.
Good times in Indy - can't wait to come back! Next stop, Mississippi. But first, there's the matter of this extremely long drive...
