I'm not sure who decided that it would be a good idea to close the spring leg of the Miracle Tour with some shows in Florida, but I salute them. We had a great time in Clearwater today. Several guys on the tour went to the beach. A few went to see the new Star Trek film. I heard it was awesome, but I skipped it. I'm more of a Star Wars guy.
If you've followed Third Day long enough, you know that we are barbecue connoisseurs. We have eaten barbecue practically everywhere we've gone. Today we might have had some of the best barbecue anywhere. The show was catered by Jaymer Que (http://www.jaymer-que.com ), a barbecue joint in Brandon, FL. Jaymer has won the "best dessert" category in his hometown competition every year for his bread pudding, and rightfully so. That stuff is GOOD. So if you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
We had another really great show tonight. You can talk about talent all you want, or about practice, but when it comes to playing together as a band, nothing can replace the experience of performing a show several dozen times in front of a real audience. We have gotten to that place over the last few shows and it is pretty cool.
Another huge element of this tour has been what God has been doing through the whole "miracle" concept. We have been praying this whole tour, both onstage and off, for God to do miracles in the lives of people impacted by this tour. If you have prayed for a miracle as a result of this tour, and feel that God has answered your prayer, we would love to hear about it! Feel free to send an email to email@example.com . This will be kept confidential - we are compiling stories for an end-of-tour devotion and prayer time this Sunday.
Thanks again Clearwater for a great night. What shall we do in Fort Myers tomorrow? I've got an idea - how about the beach?
