I had a long day leading up to the show in Ft. Wayne. I had a few things I wanted to try and knock out before lunch time. However, as oft happens on the road, it took nearly all day to get a few basic things done: shower, schoolwork, etc. It was just one of those days where I was struggling with keeping a good attitude. I know the advice I would give myself about keeping perspective, and I was trying. But, the road can have a way of beating you down a bit. You're away from your wife and kids. Sometimes you just want a nice hot shower and a fast internet connection. When that takes all day to achieve, the funk can set in.
There was a general Indian theme to the day. Nigel, David, Scotty and Brian when out to Indian food for lunch. Bali belly and a tour bus are a dangerous combination, so I passed. Mac and Mark went and saw Life of Pi. Mac came back in a really good mood after watching the movie. We hopped on stage and tweaked a few moments in the show that didn't quite feel right. We got a few transitions buttoned down, and decided to tighten the screws on Victory rather than let it go. After the show, we all watched Life Of Pi together, and then discussed it. Then, time for bed. The tour rolls on.
