Just went through one of the most enjoyable two weeks periods of my life. My daughter flew down with my grandchildren for my Birthday and Thanksgiving. Saturday after Thanksgiving My middle son and I saw NeedtoBreathe at the Orlando House of Blues. We ate a quick dinner and then hopped next door for the meet and greet. All the guys were warm and friendly. Bo was very talkative and a dyed in the wool Alabama fan. Heard "The Daylights" as an opening act, they are ALL THAT! NeedtoBreathe tore it up. It was a great concert.
The following Thursday my wife and I headed back to the House of Blues for Switchfoot. We were allowed into Sound Check and got some great pics of the band playing. Jon and the guys spent some face time with us taking pics and signing mementos. Great, Great Show. They invited a young guy on stage to play guitar on "Stars" Amazing. Never saw that at a concert.
Three days later, Sunday evening my wife and I jumped in the Mustang and headed to USF in Tampa for some meet and greet with The boys from Atlanta, ThirdDay. Met some nice people and weaved our way down to the Meet & Greet. Seemed like it was rushed. My wife thought we were being pushed through too fast and the couple we met were disappointed with the pace. The guys were great, signing everything you handed them and posing for any pics you could fit into the limited time. They're just Great guys. The show was dead on, they Rocked, they Ministered, they ruled. Not many pics thrown our way but managed to get one at the end, that made my night.
Gotta say this has been the best ride of my musical life. A Christmas season to welcome the Day.
