It's Tuesday!! Right now I'm just killing time watching or better yet listening to Law & Order:Criminal Intent. Waiting for 8pm to come around so I can watch NCIS. Then it's The Unit. Just recently got hooked on that show. I usually switch channels between The Unit and House. This is the only day I get to hog the TV.
They have a lot of proof that they are real, but it is nothing like how Hollywood or society makes them out to be.
It was saying that vampires do have a craving for the red stuff, but they don't go around hurting people or hunting people down like you see in almost all Hollywood movies.
It was saying that vampire is a branch off of Gothic, but it is not about the fashion or style, but a whole subculture and a lifestyle overall.
It was also saying that Hollywood makes them out to be monsters that need to be hunted down and exterminated like insects, when in reality, they are everyday people with everyday problems just like anyone else.
It was also saying that real life vampires are not immortal, and can not fly, or anything weird like that, but they do have strong natural cravings for the red stuff, but only in small amounts, and they can not stay out in the sunlight long at all b/c of a vitamin shortage in their blood stream and overall body metabolism.
It was also saying that when a craving hits them, that it is a rush that goes through their system, but it does not give them super-powers or anything like that, but there is an inner-ward craving response in them that wants the red stuff for engergy that no food or drink will suffice.
That might be from a lack of vitamins and minerals in their body, but it was interesting that people really are this way.
It was very interesting to watch to see that vampires are real, but nothing like what Hollywood tries to make them out to be.
Nothing!! Except the computer screen of course (thanks Jason!). Joel'll be having his 'telly time' shortly so it'll be kiddie stuff.
Tonight Mark and I will probably watch a movie or catch up on some Grey's anatomy. I recorded the whole of the last season to watch when all the other stuff we watch had finished ie; ER, Desperate Houswives, Lost, CSI. They have, so we're onto Grey's now. Please note all the stuff we watch is American !!
Sorry, I waffled a bit then didn't I?!!
