yeah i saw that he said that he would talk about it although i had no idea what he was talking about though...he said after he gets the whole story he will share it
If tax payer dollars still pay to keep them up....then its a big deal.
Our founding fathers WANTED us to rise up against corruption and tyranny...not be imprisoned by it. Its unconstitutional...see the 10th Amendment.
Article 10 doesn't carry a lot of weight on this (The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people). The suppression of rebellion is not unconstitutional, and the founding fathers did not endorse each and every future uprising. Suppose the people of California "revolt" and demand the governor of California be made King of the United States. You think we should let 'em? The government pays for a lot of things I don't like but that's part of living in a community of more than 1 person. Quit perverting the Constitution -- you are doing just what the people you continually trash here are accused of doing.
"Every generation needs a new revolution" -Thomas Jefferson
True, people burning cars, rioting, whatever are not exercising their constitution rights but breaking the law. They should be captured and punished according to the law.

Yes, but for the revolt to be constitutional it must be somewhat focused and organized and not anarchy. If you listen to Glenn Beck you know and understand this.
I guess it goes back to what you mean by "revolt". If they have the camps for constitutional revolt, well, welcome to war. I would imagine the progressives in power would perceive revolt as illegal these days since most Americans haven't a clue what principles this country was founded on. Further proving that any revolt is not likely to be constitutional. If they have the camps for rioting law breakers, more power to them. True Americans don't need them either. We need principle based, level headed, and most importantly spiritually minded individuals.
Well, flag wavers and Govt sympathizers would like everyone to think that the US is the "leader of the free world" and/or other interesting, pro-USA-- anything goes ideals. But history shows the unbelieavable corruption that has permeated our country's Govt for over a century CAUSING wars, strife and even Genocide.
With power and money being the motivating factors...

I'm not a flag waver and I'm not a government sympathizer. I dont' know if you intended those to be derogatory (if so, who's the narrow-minded one?) or if you think they apply to me.
I am a little bit of a pragmatist. I want to know what you think would change beyond one or two generations even if revolution were to sprout. And if revolution is needed every generation, what's the cost? Is it really worth it? There will always be corruption, there will always be evil men, and the corrupt and wicked will always find ways to work themselves into the upper reaches of power. That's life in this world. When you take your stand, make sure you count the cost. I don't see a need to see bloodshed so that we can exchange one set of terrible rules for another.

The flag wavers and Govt sympathizers know whow they are...
Our founding fathers fought hard for this counry and many men died to protect us AND fr selfish reasons. We should not allow what has been going on to happen and should boycott all overly biased news and reject the Left Right mindset, in order to form a more perfect union.
Persoanally, I dont think anything will change until Washington burns and our military turns on its leaders...and a toally new Govt put in place. But thats just me...

Most of what is wrong with this county was wrong with it 100 years ago and probably long before that. The 2-party system isn't new. Biased news reporting isn't new. Government corruption isn't new. The difference between you and me is that I think you could scrap it all, start all over, and nothing would change.
I was browsing and came across this thread. So I googled it like he said. The first item was from Wikipedia. So I clicked on that. After reading about it there, I gotta say...It's kinda creepy.
