Yeah. I am amazed at what some people get offended by. I posted the following one facebook this weekend:
"If Testamints are mints which have Scriptures on them, why not do the same for popsicles? Then we could name them Testicles!"
That was posted Saturday night, and Sunday morning, someone saw my wife and told her (she doesn't do FB). So my wife was embarrassed. Perhaps this should be in another thread titled: What constitutes wholesome speech?
That's pretty good. lol
I would say about 50% of my church would laugh at that, 20% would sneer, and 30% would give you a blank stare unless you translated it into spanish.
And the 20% who sneered, would laugh later when no one was looking.

At the risk of sounding like a smarty-pants, I would also like to note that the decalogue is also inadequate to send a text message, or block pop-ups, or remove those unwanted nose-hairs.

Your subtle point, that the law wasn't created to do those things, is taken. And While I conceed that the decalogue wasn't intended to save, Man thought it showed the path to righteousness... and while it does point to Christ, alone it simply shows us our inadiquacy...
