Alright ..... let's hear it for reading 4 books at once. And I have the utmost confidence that you could actually start Eye of the World before finishing one of the others and do just fine.

Putting Amazing Back into Grace by Michael Horton. I'm in the middle of The Books and the Parchments by F.F. Bruce, and I would highly recommend it. It deals with the canoncity of Scripture and also addresses the languages and scripts which is great for a nerd like me!
