I'm requesting prayer for my Mom, her name is Jan. She has had a cold, and is now coughing up blood from coughing so hard. She is prone to getting phenomonia as well. Her SIL, and SIL's husband both have confirmed cases of N1H1. My Dad drives semi...so this is hard for them both when she is so sick. Thankyou to all who pray...I really appreciate it.

Mom has an ear infection that will not clear up and is getting worse. Still coughing up blood as well. The outer part of the ear is swollen and the bone there is sore also.

As a nurse (my daughter is an ER dr, by the way), I can tell you that H1N1 is nothing to be trifled with. It is not going away anytime soon, but the majority of our population is not terribly vulnerable to it. It has been around for a long time and people over 25 or 30 have been exposed to it.
This doesn't make the confirmed cases any less severe and scary, though. Several co-workers of mine have missed significant amounts of time with it.
My prayers are with any who suffer with this disease.
