It is so nice to have a family to share my own special news with.:)
Today, my little Caleb had his 1st hair cut!
He just sat there and played with a toy, looked around twice, and kept pointing to the mirror saying 'bubbie'!
I expected crying and pulling and squirming etc. Nope. Easy going Caleb sat there and enjoyed being pampered.
He was then given a lollypop by the hair dresser for being such a good boy. She said she has never had such a good kid, like him before.;)
It was his 1st lollipop too!
1st photo....thats chocolate cookie.

What you cant tell from these photos is that Caleb's fringe was almost past his eyebrows and the back of his hair was WILD! I could actually tie it up in a ponytail:o
Oh~! Caleb got to choose what colour lollypop he wanted. He chose GOMER ORANGE! ;)

Cute, cute, cute!! Did you keep a lock of his hair? I kept a bit of Joel's and put it in his baby book.

You bet I did! lol
Unfortunately, I think I lost Elijah's curl. It should be in his baby book, but my memory hints that it may be missing.
My baby is gone and Caleb is now a little boy.
Bittersweet.
Knowing we wont be having any more children kind of enhances the bitter. But it is ok.:)

You are so lucky. Jordan still completely freaks out when he gets a hair cut. I quit doing it so his dad has picked up on that task. As far as I'm concerned he can grow it to his knees. I will NOT attempt to cut his hair ever again.

I don't remember at what age I had my first haircut but I do remember Mom and my late Aunt telling me stories 'bout where they'd have to get me to go to sleep to cut my hair and I'd wake up cryin' then they'd get me back to sleep and cut the other side....
I was a cute kid...I should find some baby pictures and post 'em...hey, I think there used to be a baby picture thread here somewhere a long time ago...right???
BTW, those pictures are precious, Joan!! They make me wanna pick Caleb up and squeeze and cuddle and hug the little fella so tight!!
(Yes, me loves babies and hopefully someday (Lord willing) I'll have a family of me own)

God willing you will have your own little ones;)
And thank you. Caleb does have that cuddly look about him. He is a snuggler too!
Who knows. If things go the way that I suspect they might, you will be able to meet Caleb and give him a cuddle in real life!:D ;)
I will give Caleb an extra squeeze tonight before he goes to bed and tell him its from you. Elijah remembers you. He 'spoke' to you over IM a few times - with Mummy typing of course. hehe
