How awesome is the Wired Radio? Anybody have a favorite live show or song so far? Anybody find a gem or two in the mix? I'll get it started: I love the acoustic version of Sing a Song from the Little Rock show. I also love the request segment from Sacramento (I think), when they did an acoustic (albeit shortened) version of Blackbird.

P.S. To the powers that be: Any chance we might get a show from the Time tour or even before? Would love to hear some really old school live stuff...every time I listen to Blackbird live from Chronology 1, it really takes me back...:D

I don't think they have tapes of those shows, or maybe they aren't great in quality. Or maybe they'll add some of them later. I'd love to hear some of those old shows, too.

I love hearing the shows I've been to. The Lubbock show was a fantastic memory for many of us. I actually got to play Mac's guitar during "I've Always Loved You", and if you listen closely you can hear me sing (shout into the microphone, actually) towards the end of "Come Together." I also got to sing a line or two from "Took My Place" (that's me shouting into the mic again) at the Austin show. That was a great rock show at an Austin club! I was also at the Houston show and the Houston Benefit show for the Katrina victims. A bunch of us Gomers volunteered at that show. What fun memories!

(I was going to post Jamie's picture of me playing Mac's guitar, but I can't seem to find it on my computer. I'm so thankful that Jamie caught that moment for me! :) )

By the way, several of the shows are labeled wrong. Here's the list of the ones I've found to be incorrect, just so you know.

The Houston, TX (Benefit Show Part 1) link is the whole Katrina Benefit show from 9/05 (not 2006). While that show is playing, the player says that it’s the Costa Mesa show.

Houston, TX (Benefit Show Part 2) is not the benefit show at all, but the Houston show right before that at AstroWorld on August 6, 2005 (not 2006). That is our own Cebrina singing “Come Together”.

When the Huntsville, AL show is playing, the player says Fresno, CA.

The Frankenmuth, MI show was 2005, not 2006.

The Lubbock, TX show is not 2006. It was August 20, 2005, Brad’s birthday.

The Livermore, CA is 2005 also.

Those shows with the Q&A sessions are great. I can't recall which one it was, but I spit my drink out of my nose laughing at some of the guys (Tai and Mac, I think) having some fun at Scotty's expense when he used some poorly-chosen words describing his and his wife's attempt at having children. It was a very sweet story, and all in good fun, but HILARIOUS nonetheless.

I was thinking about how good the quality of the live Blackbird from Chronology was, and I wonder if they recorded the whole show or not. Even parts of the old school shows would be a real treat. I would LOVE to hear Believe (not to be confused with I Believe) live.

On the Time tour, I'll never forget the band playing Praise Song at the end... That was unexpected and SO COOL.

Anyway, getting amped for the Texas State Fair show this weekend! Yahoo!
