If I had to pick one, it would probably be If I Left the Zoo, but I really liked the White Elephant Sessions too because it was kind of a compliation. How about you?

I've got 3. Jars of Clay, If I left the zoo, and Who we are instead.

(whoops, this is Buttabean. I'm using Lori's compy. Sorry!)

OK, I've got to say 4. Furthermore is also high on my list. I can't pick favorites. :o

The self titled CD is still my favorite. You can't top a classic.

Self titled album, without a doubt.

They have a new album coming out Tuesday...it's a Christmas album, but it sounds amazing. It will be this year's version of "Christmas Offerings" Jars of Clay style.

Mac's warm voice was perfect for a Christmas cd. However, it seems that the Jars boys have put together a much better record. 3D put out a cd that was decent, but to me sounded a lot like the other Christian bands who have come out with Christmas cds. Jars of Clay are just far more creative and willing to take risks in their music.

oh ya, i voted for good monsters. much better album musically, lyrically and it has a way more variety of songs than the others (but i enjoy most of the material this band puts out especially right now).

First CD, and the Christmas CD. I've got some of the others but not sure which ones, I've not really played them a whole lot since I got them.

I haven't heard all of them, so my opinion is only based on what I have heard. And I'll have to say Good Monsters. Their self-titled used to be one of my favorites when I was little, but it seems to have disappeared sometime over the course of the years, so I haven't listened to it in a really long time. If I had a refresher, I might be able to judge better how it would rank.

I love them all. I don't have the more obscure ones like Stringtown. Redemption Songs is my fave, and then Good Monsters. But I love the self-titled as well.

I've never been a big fan of Jars. Redemption Songs is possibly the best Christian album I've ever bought, though.

I would like to know if there's a band more diverse than Jars of Clay. This new song is fresh, upbeat and, once again, unlike their other material.

These guys are amazing! I can't wait until their next studio album in early 09.

p.s. alright, U2's probably the most diverse there is (but not their last 2 cds :))

With me it's a tie between good monsters and redemption songs.
There are songs I like on them all though like liguid and flood and amazing grace etc. etc.
I make up my own cd's with all the songs I like best.:)

Yeah, I agree, they are really diverse. Which is one of the reasons I like them as much as I do.

I like it too. As usual, they're throwing us a curve. It's almost never what you expect, that's what I love about this band!

None of them really because I am not a big fan but I did think Much Afraid was pretty good

My favorite is MOST DEFINITELY "Much Afraid." I've heard it described as "musically layered," and it certainly is THAT. It sounds really awesome on a pair of headphones!

I would have to say that it is my 2nd favorite album OF ALL TIME!
Topped only by Third Day's "Revelation."

It's the CD I listen to 99% of the time when I want to relax. ("FRAIL" always puts me to sleep!) BUT, I also like to listen to it when I want to rock!
Of course, when I REALLY want to rock, I listen to "Revelation!"

I honestly was never a fan of Jars of Clay until I saw them with Third Day on the Christmas tour. I was really impressed & have been a fan ever since!

I am slowly collecting all of their CDs. (They have nearly as many as 3D!)
So far I have ~
Jars of Clay
Much Afraid
If I left the Zoo
Who we are Instead
Furthermore...
Christmas Songs

I also have :
"Flood" CD single (It has "Flood" and "Liquid." I saw it at the used book/music store for $1.00)
"Crazy Times" maxi-single (It has 4 songs. Got it at Amazon.com.)

I tend to like their older stuff better than the newer stuff. I am anxious to hear what the new album will sound like, though.

I have every single album on my external hard drive, and I must say that the original self titled album is so far superior to any of the others...the fact that I grew up listening to it probably has something to do with my opinion though.

I just got "Redemption Songs" this week. It's VERY different than all the others, but I think it will grow on me.

I love all their music, but this one is my favorite. I love the new spin on all the old hymns.

I chose Who We Are Instead, because it's the only one I actually own. Jars of Clay was actually the first Christian band I started listening to :)

Much Afraid
The Eleventh Hour
Good Monsters

I picked up The Eleventh Hour not too long ago. I like it a lot.

Also, downloaded Closer and Roots & Wings EPs along with a handful of other random songs of theirs I found at Amazon.

My "current favorite" album is If I Left the Zoo. I love Famous Last Words and Hand.

Yes, I heard that this morning on K-Love.
They were live on the ranch with Jon & Sherry. They played "Two Hands" (twice) & a few others. Sounded pretty good.
