I am enjoying the on-line radio very very much. I actually attended 6 of the shows on that list. It is fun going back and hearing those again. I get so tickled about Mac looking at his blackberry checking the Bama/LSU score during the Jacksonville show and "Get Your Pom Pom's Up" during the Raleigh show.

That is actually the first one I listened to because I remember you telling me about that. "What are you doing her Bari?", too cute.
I told Galen, I hadn't been to any of the shows on the list and he didn't believe me.

Jacksonville was my sister's first show and she had a blast. It was also where I met Patrick and Jason. That was fun.

I am loving the online radio, which almost makes up for the t-shirt fiasco, but I'm still chapped about that one.

I'm on the Wired online radio singing with Mac. It's listed as the Houston Benefit concert part 2. It really wasn't the benefit concert that it happened at. It was a month before at the Houston show they did. I cannot sing, but I wanted to be on stage with Third Day!!!

Oh, we listened to that today too. The girls were so excited! "Miss Cebrina is on here? Yeah" They cheered you on, don't worry. "Let's give it up for Cebrina!"

Oooooh, "Raleigh/Durham" show! That's the Songs and Stories mini tour. Listening to that one right now. Wonder if it includes all the Q&A interviews (that's where I pulled Brad's Q&A answer for my Air Guitar BAFF video, from my clips from this show. :P )
I think they retired "Eagles" not too long after that :( so was very happy to have heard that one here...

I did hear some Q&A on one of the shows. I need to go back and listen to that show. Eagles is one of my favorites and I've never heard it live. I was glad to see they worked it into the CV2 video shoot in Alaska. That was beautiful!

Eagles is one of my favorites too. Heard it in Durham, then one more time at the Lynchburg show the following February. By the time they came back to Greensboro in April, they'd already retired it. I was seriously bummed. :( Wonder why that one got pulled out of the setlist.
Communion is playing now.
edit: Q&A segment is playing now. MUST sit down and boost that audio, anytime where there's no music, the volume is WAAAAY low...

Anyone know why we don't hear Communion more? I heard it before he CD was out in Huntsville, AL and at the Sunday morning devotions with Nigel in Nashville at G3, but not since.

It probably went the same way as Eagles, to the Island of Misfit Songs. :( ;)

Odd ;) that we both gravitated right to the two local shows. I had on the rest of the R/D show tonight and will be playing back the state fair show tomorrow. LOL.

Did anyone else notice that the Livermore, Ca 2006 show must actually be 2005. There is a place somewhere in there that Mac says "we got a new record coming out November 1st". It has one neat part where Mac and Mark get to talking about carnival rides. Fun stuff!! Just wondered if any others have the wrong year listed.;)

This is really cool! It's nice to be able to listen in on shows that you weren't able to go to and hear what everyone had been talking about.

Just listened to the NC State Fair show, well, the last part of it anyway.
 I'd forgotten how Mac had urged all 6000 people in attendance to go to ThirdDay.com and enter to win tickets to the Songs and Stories mini tour. And how all of us regular boardies were all thinking "Mac, be QUIET!" :D That was probably why I didn't win tickets to that thing. Too many Fair people entered. LOL.

Fancy that, I just flew back from Australia, and boy are my arms tired! :P
Is it just me, or is the Melbourne show the only one of the Aussie shows that isn't "joined already in progress"? All the other ones seem to start mid song someplace.
(And so far, of all the shows I've listened to that I've NOT been to, the Melbourne show is my favorite one thus far, I think.)
One thing I found that was rather nifty was when I was playing back the State Fair show yesterday, I'd pulled up my clips page (http://www.kcusimano.com/thirdday/ThirdDay_NCStateFair_Clip s/clips.html) from that night to see which songs were coming next. It was kind of wild to finally put my 30-40 seconds video bytes in context with what else was actually going on at that time. Like Mark talking about the ACC and the number of people who were in LSU shirts who were actually fans of other teams, ie Duke, or Wolfpack or whathaveyou. And Tai talking and pointing out his family ("8th row? Is that the best you could do?" - LOL I forgot about that) right before the happy birthday song.
The clips are great to have to remember shows by, but there's so much that goes on that I DON'T catch that I forget about. Yet another reason why Wired radio is so great.

Lubbock Texas.
John had the 3D radio on when I woke this morning. (This is actually how we start every morning. He wakes early and puts 3D on without fail.) Now we have the WIRED Radio! WooHoo!
He had on the live shows and the start to Lubbock was sooo cool! The music was great. He said it reminded him of the start of a U2 show.
It was Mr. Avery's birthday and it was fun to hear Happy Birthday sung for him....
And Mac telling Mr Elwood to watch out 'cos a pick was coming his way!
Oh and the Buddy Holly song....that was great!
It sounds like everyone was having a GREAT time!
Ohhh boy...Mac's talk & prayer. My gosh. Beautiful.
Thanks Third Day for allowing us to listen to your past shows!:D You sure do care for us all and are true servants. Thank you for being so gracious. Your humility is inspiring.

That was from the Lubbock show, right? I was listening to that one as well today. I know Mac always seems to speak from the heart and every prayer I have ever heard him make seems sincere, but that one was definitely special. You can tell he was really moved. That's my favorite part of listening to the different show is the dialogue between songs, cause the songs don't vary a whole lot from show to show.

Does anyone know if the recent SC or Texas state fair shows will be added to Wired Radio?;)

From what was said when 'Wired' was launched, all new shows will be added. I don't know how long they'll take though.
I'd personally like to hear Cardiff 2007 - we were there and we'd LOVE to relive it!!

Not sure but I think they will only add tour shows, not festival shows. They can't always record festival shows.

I love hearing the shows I've been to. The Lubbock show was a fantastic memory for many of us. I actually got to play Mac's guitar during "I've Always Loved You", and if you listen closely you can hear me sing (shout into the microphone, actually) towards the end of "Come Together." I also got to sing a line or two from "Took My Place" (that's me shouting into the mic again) at the Austin show. That was a great rock show at an Austin club! I was also at the Houston show and the Houston Benefit show for the Katrina victims. A bunch of us Gomers volunteered at that show. What fun memories!

By the way, several of the shows are labeled wrong. Here's the list of the ones I've found to be incorrect, just so you know.
The Houston, TX (Benefit Show Part 1) link is the whole Katrina Benefit show from 9/05 (not 2006). (While that show is playing, the player says that it’s the Costa Mesa show.)
Houston, TX (Benefit Show Part 2) is not the benefit show at all, but the Houston show right before that at AstroWorld on August 6, 2005 (not 2006).
The Frankenmuth, MI show was 2005, not 2006.
The Lubbock, TX show is not 2006. It was August 20, 2005, Brad’s birthday.
The Livermore, CA is 2005 also.
