I want to burn a copy of a radio broadcast to CD for a friend of mine. I can save the broadcast to Windows Media but haven't been able to burn it to CD.....any help?

(I usually use Nero to make my CDs, so I've not actually TRIED this to see if it works, but it looks like it should.)

If you can play the audio file in Windows Media Player, there should be a tab that says "Burn" in the player window. That'll bring up kind of a split screen. Drag and drop what you want to burn onto the left side of the split, and the right side should say to put in a blank CD into your computer.

I THINK (this is the "I've never tried this" part) that at that point you should just be able to click the "start burn" button at the upper left and that should create an audio CD from the audio file(s) that you drag and dropped on the left. If the file(s) on the finished disc end in .cda, there's a good chance that it worked.

Alternately, iTunes should burn a CD for you as well, but I'm even less familiar with that process than I am with using WMP. :o :)

You can also try http://www.majorgeeks.com
for ripping or burning software- a good amount of the apps there are free to download.

Excellent, thank you.

I am always on the lookout for good sites with software. I find most by recommendation. Like this one :)
