All people hear this:
First of all, you must read this book. The most miraculous testimony i have ever heard. This book is a Tool to get many people saved. Get it in the hands of as many unbelievers as you can(especially teenagers). It will change their lives. I read this book in 2 days(never done that!). I couldn't put it down. This book has inspired me to witness like never before. It really shows how powerful jesus is in tranforming peoples lives.
Here are the links to watch his testimony at the church where he was saved. I get chills every time i see it. It is 3 parts

I'm interested in reading his book. I think his transformation is quite a miracle and shows that God can work anywhere with anyone. Korn is a band I totally hated and despised. I had a lot of hatred towards them specifically because of the influence they seemed to have on someone I really cared for a few years ago (like a son, but not my son). But I saw Brian Welch on TV a couple years ago - some end of year "most interesting stories of the year" kind of thing and I was just blown away. I wonder how many lost people are now found or at least thinking about things after Brian left his former band. I wasn't even a fan of his but God showed me a lot through him and instead of holding a lot of hatred for the group, I now pray for them sincerely because I know they too can be saved. :D
God bless Brian!

I haven't read the book but did read an article about him recently:Christianity Today / Brian Welch (http://www.christianitytoday.com/music/interviews/2007/brianwelch-0807.html). I followed a link to his site, and I browsed through the forum there for a couple of minutes. Someone there posted that several of the other band members have made decisions for Christ also.

Has anyone read "Save Me From Myself" or "Washed By Blood" by Brian Welch? (Former Korn band member) I recently heard his testimony on TBN & the same weekend we had a guest speaker in church who had met him & had no idea who he was but spoke with him about his salvation. Just thought I might read "Save Me From Myself" & check it out.

We got it for our nephew. Why won't they read this stuff?
My wife likes it and my mother-in-law too.
We'll probably get Blood too.
I need to read them...

I just finished "Lessons From The Road", and I'm getting ready to start "Save Me From Myself". Brian and his daughter autographed my book at Rock the Universe. He said "talk about a resurrection" when we commented on the photo of him laying upside down looking half dead, comparing it to the picture of him getting baptized in the Jordan river. What a transformation. It's amazing to see God at work.

I have and I LOVE it! I always knew he struggled with drugs and alcohol, but didn't realize how badly. It was interesting to see how he was then and how he is now. I highly recommend the book, especially if you have a loved one or if you yourself have struggled with any type of addiction. I honestly, liked reading about how his change came about and what he's been up to since he became a Christian.

Cool! I'll bet that was great. I saw some video of his being baptized in the Jordan river. So how was "Lessons From The Road"?

I just got this saturday night and I've almost finished reading it. It is so cool to see how God can save even someone as lost as he was. Really gives me hope that someday my ex will turn his life around.

I have read Save Me From Myself and found it to be a very good book. If you like the book you may also like his cd of the same name.

I read his book about a month ago (finally.) A friend still has to give it back. He was at the top of 'my most awesome male testimonies' list too at the time, but unfortunatly got ousted 2 days later. lol. And by one of the pastors at a church I've been going to who I've known for a few years. Who would have thought it.
You'd just never know, which shows you how God can redeem someone so beautifully (and quickly.)
I like him but I wish he'd give up the death and metal. It'll get him eventually if he doesn't. You can't walk away from a really bad lifestyle and take some of it with you under a christian form. Just doesn't work. Some people will tell you can to make your switch 'easier' because you're famous and they want to keep you in the church. But that's almost a sure way to destroy you over time.
It can be easy to look like a christian but hold on to sin. But if other people tell you that your sin, isn't actually sin, it can make things really foggy - and give the devil a lot of places to hide. And that can be a bad place as a new christian.
I guess my main thought would be, that I hope he makes it. Not because he isn't genuine but he's facing the church, not just sin. And people are still people, even once they become christians. And people can mean well, but.....
To give up everything you have to give up everything.
We just arn't really given any other choice.
Really like the guy, but I'd hate to see him eventually flounder (which can be so embaressing when the world is watching) or turn into the kind of hypocritical 'christian' entertainer that make up most of the few that we have who just flaunt their double standards and expect you to nod and smile.
One foot in the world, and one in the church, and not letting go of either.
Makes christians in general look bad.
And another bad point about doing that, is that you open yourself up for the devil to make a fool of you, because God isn't going to watch your back over sin.
