A man was driving down the road and ran out of gas. Just at that moment, a bee flew in his window.

The bee said, 'What seems to be the problem?'

'I'm out of gas,' the man replied.

The bee told the man to wait right there and flew away. Minutes later, the man watched as an entire swarm of bees flew to his car and into his gas tank. After a few minutes, the bees flew out.

'Try it now,' said one bee.

The man turned the ignition key and the car started right up. 'Wow!' the man exclaimed, 'what did you put in my gas tank'?

The bee answered,

And a lot of other places too, I would think, doesn't BP stand for British Petroleum or something along those lines? It would be a quirky twist if the folks in the UK actually DON'T have BP gas stations there. :P

Very cute, Miz Sharon. :D
(and it wasn't even "anti-man" this time! Elwood should be happy. ;) ;) ;) )

EDIT: Well, THERE'S the person we should ask, Miz Emmogomer! :) Do you guys have BP stations there where you're at?

That DOES stand for British Petroleum, though, right? I thought I read that someplace. So I figured there would have had to have been something wrong in the time/space continuum if there were no British Petroleum stations in Britain. :P

All is right with the time/space continuum, apparently. LOL.

I absolutely adore their little cartoon commercials with the little kids. The "blooper" reel on youtube is hiliarious. :D

You (the USA) have

BP

We (The United Kingdom) have

BP

British Petroleum spent an Eeenoormous amount of money updating their logo in the 1980s - the company that got paid suggested (and they accepted) the BP be made into italics (the inference was that because it leaned slight to the right, it was showing how BP were forward looking into the future).

Waste of money that could have been used to feed starving children in my opinion.

We (in the UK) have MacDonalds drive throughs with BP petrol stations attached to the side of them. :)

Service stations and food establishments seems wrong, but we have a station that we stop at on the way to my parents house that has a Subway/Godfather's pizza inside. I think there is one BP station here. It's actually a hang out for the biker crowd. They do a lot of motorcycle repairs.

lol yes - there is a sign on the door stating 'please pay for fuel and move vehicle before purchasing MacDonalds products.

We have a service station and bakery just around the corner - it seems weird queueing to pay for fuel and being tempted by freshly baked bread and scrumptious cakes and confectionery at the same time. (Husband runs petrol station, wife runs the bakery).

That must be in your neck of the woods David. Here we have a BP station with a Burger King attached !
You really are a font of knowledge David, I didn't know that about the italicised BP.

HAHAHA! I guess you wouldn't have to worry about running out of gas while waiting for your drive thru order either. ;)

Interesting approach to working together.

Peterborough is about four miles across, we are well served with fast food drive ins (I guess we have at least six drive thru' MacDonalds plus at least two walk in and sit down ones).

http://maps.live.com/

and type in Peterborough, england - I had to post this picture - look at all those likkle fields :)

If you type PE36SD - you will see my police station (there are 3D views taken from an AWAC - Microsoft can afford to pay the USAF to take pictures for them!)

and here it is in glorious 3D

What I think is cool is that the design plan for MacDonald's vehicle route is the US version, so we drive through in reverse (otherwise our driver's door window would be on the wrong side).

Gee, you'd think that the criminals could sync their schedules so that both crimes could be looked into at the same time, without making you have to make two trips out there.

Such thoughtless rude criminals you have there.

You would also think that could could be more considerate and refrain from doing outdoor crimes when it is raining, but they never think of anyone but themselves...;)
