Hello all,
I'm not sure if this thread is ok to post here, but if not I apologize and I'm sure it will be deleted.
I just wanted to tell you of an internet music station that plays music from the 80's through today (with a sprinkle or two of the 70's). It is called The Right Place. Here is just a few of the bands that we play:

Third Day (of course)
Bryan Duncan
Randy Stonehill
Pillar
POD
Switchfoot
Newsboys
De Garmo & Key
Skillet

and so many more. And not just the slow stuff either. It is a free station. You just have to register (it's free).
To listen, just go to www.therightplace.bz and click on the listen live section. It will take you right to it. Oh ya, how do I know about this station? My husband and I own it. Hope you tune in.

That is so cool....I will definitely check it out! I'll also tell my husband (1 unchaind gomer), who is a musician. He'll enjoy that. :D

I was present when the 1st "Jesus Music" came out. There was such excitement when a Christian artist or band had a few power chords or some loud drums! I still love to listen to lots of the 1980's-era CCM, like:

Joe English
Crumbacher
Jerusalem
Rez
Petra
D&K
Daniel Band

In fact, I've been trading classic OOP CCM CD-R's (enough acronyms yet?) with other CCM collectors for a couple of years now. If anyone else wants to trade, I'd be happy to discuss it with you. I don't charge anything - this is strictly one lover of CCM to another.
