That's cuz those of us that prefer safari at this point are already using it....;)

It doesn't work like a charm. It has bugs, but that's OK, because it's a beta.
I haven't talked about it yet because I haven't had a chance to try it. Still, I don't see why we need one more browser. It just makes it harder on web developers.

I have installed Safari, the interface looks nice and I will be using it on occasion.
I compared it with Internet Explorer by downloading a few graphics intensive web pages and IE appears to be quicker by about ten per cent.

It isn't "one more browser" as it is already in the marketplace working on another OS platform...
I updated to Safari 3 Beta the night before last, but I go back and forth between Firefox and Safari usualy so I havn't had alot of opportunity to put it through the ropes....
I am glad that they added Tab functionality to it though...

I always have issues with Firefox not loading pictures... And it isn't just on my iMac or my iBook, it used to do it on my Vaio too...
If Firefox worked like a charm I would always use it...

I beg to differ. I have noticed several code elements that render differently on FF/Mac than they do on FF/Windows. So there is no reason to think it won't be the same for Safari.
(IE 5 for Mac is also very different, but it's an apples vs. oranges thing, since it has no relationship with IE for Windows)

But are those code elements that render differently due to the browser code, or plug in code?
I notice Java usualy renders differently on Macs vs. PC's because of the way the Java Plug ins for macs work...

When I say code, I mean certain HTML elements, CSS and javascript methods render differently, are recognized differently, or display differently in the same named/version of browser on Mac vs. Windows. We web guys deal with this reality all the time.

Safari is faster than FF on both of my macs... I just started using Navigator again, primarly because I can't use the advanced editor on Myspace using FF or Safari...
