Chronology V2 cover change?

Anyone seen the new cover? It's got the guys faces' added.

I'm not sure if I like it very much. I liked the old one, being the same as CV1, but with a different color. I think the picture might be too much.

I like the pic, it coordinates with the website and the boards, but the CV2 cover didn't NEED anything else, it was fine the way it was, IMHO. It matched the first one, and was classy in an understated way. And kind of unique. Now it just looks like any other cover with a band on the front.

I prefer it as was, myself. But *sigh* I guess I'll buy it anyway. :P ;)

I liked the old one. It co-ordinated with CV1. And it's all about co-ordination isn't it girls?!!

That may not be the front cover, but maybe a selling point photo. If it is the front cover, I think it's much nicer than the old one. And it should sell more, because it catches the eye quicker. You think, "Hey, Third Day". The old cover may only catch your eye if you know the Come Together symbol well enough to recognize it out of a familiar context.

Honestly, I'm ok with it either way. I liked the original because it coordinated with CV1 and you could easily see that it was Part 1 and 2 of a series.

However, that is such a good pic of the guys. And it looks kinda good faded into that back.

Considering the fact that I think this is one of the VERY best picture of Third Day I have no problem with it on the cover.

So that IS the official cover now? Oh well, no matter. I usually see CD covers just once or twice anyway, just long enough to convert them over to MP3 to play in the car or on my PDA, then the original CD goes on the shelf never to be seen again unless I need to look up lyrics or have accidentally deleted the songs from the hard drive. :)

Don't get me wrong, it IS a great pic of them. I just kinda sorta liked the cover the way it was. Any particular reasoning behind why they changed it, do you know?

Okay, okay, it's growing on me. I take a while to warm up to changes. That is a really great picture! The fact that it doesn't "match" only bothers me a little now. Still light-headed with anticipation. AND a new release next year? Ooh, I need a lie-down.

Personally I prefer his right arm...........but I am with you, I like it. I am looking forward to V2 very much.

When first reading this thread I thought that you guys were talking about a complete cover change:( , and my heart sank:eek: b/c I liked the looks of the original cover, but then I followed the link and sort of changed my mind:P . Personally, I think that the picture is just for the cv2 page only, though it looks kinda cool (and the overall theme stays the same, just a diff color and added pic). Either way I like it (but if I had to pick, I would pick the original:rolleyes: ).

My only complaint is the packaging for both 1 & 2. They're cardboard, and they don't fit in my cd rack. My wife spilled coffee and soaked the case for V2 :(
