Or does thirty something include 30 + 10 etc?:)

Well, I think there are a few of around that are 10+ over the CARAT age, but maybe not enough to receive special recognition (either that or most of them are women who don't want to point out their rapid approach to 50! :eek: :D )

Sheesh....when I joined this board 4 years ago I was in my early '40's. At this rate by the time formal recognition is finally given to my age group I'll have turned 50.......:eek:

Right. How many times do we have to explain this? CARAT means Cool An Rockin' After Thirty! Forty and fifty, and yes, even sixty and seventy, are all after thirty!

The forum description says "Specifically for CARATs. (Cool And Rockin' After Thirty)" which I think is pretty clear. But if you like, we can have Tim change the name to something like "Thirtysomething and on".

For each decade after thirty we get another ^ ("carrot" or "carat").....I'm currently a double carat ^^ plus a half.....Of course...I'll take all the carats I can get....;) ......

and yesly I still rock....I thought every one here rocked...after 30....

thank God were not in rocking chairs yet...but even then I 'll be a rockin...
