I was having pain in my right knee yeaterday night, and I didn't think anything of it. I woke up this morning, and I was gonna get ready for my new job, and I couldn't put any weight on my right knee @ all. After trying to walk it off for 30 minutes, I called my boss.

She wasn't to impressed, and told me to get a doctors note. My doctor couldn't see me today till 5 this afternoon, so I'm not having a great day.

after trying to see a doctor all day, I finally saw my doctor. She looked @ my knee, and right away said...its not broken...or else you wouldn't be able to walk in here. So, she twisted it a lot of different ways, and she turned it to a point to where it hurt.

She recommended I not go back to work, and I made another appointment to have it looked @ again. I was also given drugs, which have really helped out.

As far as my boss goes, she kinda still doesn't believe I was hurt. Even with a doctor's note...

Well, I've been on pills since I 1st posted this. My knee feels better, and I had it re-checked out by my Doctor today. She says she doesn't see anyting wrong with me knee.

Think I'm just old...

That stuff sneaks up on you. It happened to me too- and the thing that stinks about it is that they don't fix whatever the problem is, they give you painkillers and anti-whateveritis. Which, on the upside, makes you functional again, but on the downside, makes you realize that it will be back.

Oh, and by the time it comes back, you'll take the pain killer, get an appointment for the doc, and by the time you get seen your (fill in the blank pain) will be gone.
