Prayer by Phillip Yancey

Just wondering what everyone's learned from this book. Any chapters, topics that stand out?

Phillip always delivers a great book. I find that reading and being able to pick-up new information every time, even after reading 2, 3 or 4 times over is the mark of a great book. Whether you're highly versed in Christianeze or your on the borderlands of Christianity, you'll benefit from his books.

He seems to be doing well though, even with the neck brace. He came here to my school, his alma mater, a few weeks ago and was still chipper, even though he had the brace.

he was very lucky after that car wreck; could have been another Christopher Reeve....

Dang it's good to be back. I joined about 2yrs ago and I haven't been on for about a year I think....glad I made it back and i hope to continue.

Just wanted to comment....Prayer Book, I've read almost half, I was borrowing a copy from a friend and misplaced it unfortunatly...time to replace, finish and get it back :) Good read...lots of good stuff in there. I"m not the biggest Yancey fan but I do like this book! I hope he's fully recovered by now!
