Sometimes when family members die the other family members come to Christ through those hard times.

If the lord is good all the time then help me see some good in childbirth when a parent dies and the baby has to live without parents?

My Dad died when I was very young and I did not understand why until 5 years ago. That is when I gave birth to our first baby, a beautiful healthy girl. That night in the hospital I thanked God for my baby, and also for every "wrong turn" in my life that got me to that exact place in time. If you knew my life, as God does, you would know that if my Dad had lived I would never have known my baby girl - or my baby boy for that matter. I trust in God and in His Plan. And I believe that this so so short time on the Earth is nothing - absolutely nothing - compared to what we will have in Eternity with Jesus Christ our Saviour.

That's my answer and I'm sticking to it! :)

God has his own planning. We may not understand what his plans are for many years to come. That is why we must walk by faith, believing that God will always be with us, even during the hard times.

Using your example, I always think of how Christ died for us, so that we may become born again. Jesus is our parent and would give his earthly life so we may live eternally with him.

If that happens it is for the Lord's will and that person's time to leave this world. My pap-paw (grandpa) died when I was seven, lots of times I wish he was still with us, sometimes I think it's not fair to go through life without him. But God has a reason for everything even if someone died after having a child, it is all in God's plan.

We are broken, wrought by sin because we chose it in the beginning. Sometimes we get on this thing where we think our lives are perfect and we can do everything on our own. What does God do? He sometimes allows us to reap the consequences of our actions. Only when we have been brought to our weakness-- when we realize the world doesn't revolve around us-- can God's light shine through.

Because of our sin, the world is Satan's domain. Jesus Himself said (in John 16:33) "In this world, you will have trouble." He never said it would be a walk in the park. But that is the battle of faith. He loves you and he cares. He sees us-- all of us-- whether we're in trouble or not. Let him carry you.
