LOL, now THAT'S a huge difference in songs!
I keep alternating between "The Living Daylights" (yes, after all this time!) and - of all things - that "Spider Pig" theme from the Simpsons Movie. Where Homer is making the pig walk on the ceiling, singing "Spider-pig, spider-pig, does whatever a spider pig does..." I sent the pics of the office spider to myself here at the office last night, and titled the email "Spider Pic, spider Pic, does whatever a spider pic does."

I've been playing D's American Top 40 "100 Greatest Hits of 1983" disc in the car, so I've actually got the song "Gloria" by Laura Branigan stuck in my head right at the moment. Which is kind of odd, since the last song that was playing before I turned it off was "Telephone" by Sheena Easton.
Anybody else ever realize how amazingly similar those two songs sound? (Anyone actually CARE? LOL :P ) But seriously, you could drop the chorus of Gloria right into the chorus of Telephone without missing a beat.
But I was boogying along to the Stray Cats "Rock This Town" earlier. That's a GREAT song!
Oooh, and "Affair of the Heart", by Rick Springfield.
I feel so old now. :o :D

Neither.
Sherman guest-starred in several episodes of the Jack Webb series, Emergency!, and found a new calling. It was at this time that the performer focused more on his personal life, eventually leaving the public spotlight. He soon volunteered with the Los Angeles Police Department, and worked with paramedic, CPR, and first aid classes. He is also a San Bernardino County deputy sheriff. According to Sherman, "I've been bestowed a mountain of blessings. I felt a need to start giving back." The entertainer has been given several awards for his humanitarian efforts.

Umm... "Bang A Gong (Get It On)", by Power Station. :D
(My CD switched last night, from the Top 100 of 1983 to the AT40 20th Anniversary Special going from 1970-1990, so I think I'm at 1972 or '73 right now. :)
Now, with all the "then and now" versions of songs that they do in that special, like merging together the two versions of "Lean on Me" that I heard earlier this morning, how they missed putting the T-Rex version of "Bang a Gong" together with the Power Station version is beyond me. )
So I heard the T-Rex version on the CD, but given how many times I've heard the Power Station version before that, I'm actually hearing Robert Palmer singing it in my head. :D (And scarily enough, visualizing John Taylor wearing a the red dress with the black leather pants, from during their SNL performance of the song! )

One of my best friends and I actually had a conversation for about 4 hours the other about music... she would send me youtube link to one of her new music discoveries, and then I would send her one of my new finds...then we talked about music we listened to growing up, and then for some reason we listened to some Ja Rule? It was quite random, but I ended up finding sooo many great new bands.
