Product Description

Featuring rare, previously-unreleased video and audio, this exclusive collection includes early video of Mac Powell and Mark Lee performing at their home church, band commentary on music videos, brand-new recordings of classic songs “My Hope Is You” and “Thief,” Chronology, Volume One’s CD/DVD combo showcases the first five years of Third Day in a way you will not see or hear anywhere else.

Includes 17 Audio Track and 19 Video Clips. This Collection is a must for every Third Day Fan!

Taking cues from the pop-culture presentation of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Chronology, Volume One’s DVD will feature the band silhouetted against their videos, commenting on performances, specific shots, who wore what and why, and so much more, peeling back the behind-the-scenes curtain on videos such as “Consuming Fire,” “You Make Me Mad,” “Your Love Oh Lord” and two versions of “Cry Out To Jesus.” (CD/DVD tracks listed below.)

Together with the August release of Chronology, Volume Two (2001-2006), which will feature a full ten-year video documentary on the band, these new projects will give both longtime fans and new listeners a look at the humble beginnings, yet meteoric rise of the Atlanta-based five-piece rock group.

“With the release of Chronology, Volume One and Two, we’re looking back and celebrating those experiences that formed who we are today,” says Mac Powell, the band’s lead singer. “The commentary and bootleg videos are hilarious. I mean, I don’t have any facial hair and my voice is a whole octave higher,” he quips.

Tai Anderson adds, “These projects were a lot of fun to pull together. I’d forgotten how many different ‘looks’ we actually went through! What was really fun though, was rerecording and remixing the songs that our fans made hits. We’ll always be grateful to them for allowing us to do what we love doing.”

I am hoping that this offer doesn't include a free Wherever You are CD. I have given everyone I know one and still have a few left....

I was thinking some kind of cool t-shirt....;) How about a Long Time Comin' shirt?

Bari wants one of those too!!:D

I am hoping that this offer doesn't include a free Wherever You are CD. I have given everyone I know one and still have a few left.... LOL. I sent my one extra on the road as that Geocaching travelbug (It's still stranded up in Indiana, maybe it's too cold to go caching up there now), and then turned right around and got ANOTHER one with the Christmas CD.

Tempted to buy another set of dogtags and send THIS one out into the world too, and most likely will, if I end up with yet another one as part of a package deal. :p

I don't know. Someone picked it up back in September and hasn't dropped it off anywhere yet. The person's stats say they actually live in MI, so it might actually be THERE now. Hopefully they're just waiting until warmer weather to start geocaching again and will drop it off someplace then. Here's the log for it so far.

I just learned today about this! I'm excited. I will probably wait to pre-order on 3d's site also, so I'll see what they offer. Cool! I can't believe it's been 10 years! These guys have "been with me" through almost all of my schooling!

Huh? Huh? What do we get? What do we get? :p (Sorry, had a little too much coffee this morning, so I'm easily excitable. :o )

I did see that if we pre-order starting March 3, we can stream the new album again like for the last two. But other than that, I haven't heard/seen anything...

Has anyone else pre-ordered this from MusiChristian? I did today, but haven't gotten any info yet on the stream. I even got my order-confirmation email...but nothing on the stream. Last time I placed a pre-ordered with them, that was supposed to come with a stream (I think it was Lifesong Live)....I never did get the streaming access.

 Anyone?

It looks like Family Christian (http://www.familychristian.com/shop/product.asp?prodID=18234) has the best price, at $11.95, with the streaming access available.

I was planning to order it from ThirdDay.com, but Music Today just charges way too much for shipping!

Why does the March Family Christian(see page 27) ad have Chronology as their number six best seller? They list it as new but do not show that their is a future release date? The price of $11.97 is attractive.

The shipping and handling has not yet been confirmed so I think our friend from Iowa could be wrong. It doesn't show the shipping charges, yet. It can estimate it for though.

I actually pre-ordered it from the Third Day store and still haven't received the information for free streaming audio. And I submitted an e-mail question and haven't heard back. Any suggestions?

Side note: the new radio station is sweet and including the indie releases is awesome.

Just ordered from Family Christian. Couldn't pass by $11.99. And as much as I'd LOVE more Third Day "stuff", I already don't have enough room for the "stuff" that I have, so opted to just go with the cheapest option that gave me the stream.

I've not tried it yet, I'm on the laptop which has *ick* for speakers, but they emailed me the link to the stream immediately. So as soon as I'm back on the PC, I'll give it a try. :)

They also have Glory Revealed for only $8.99 this month in stores(probably on line too) but I don't think I'm goin' to buy it.I actually picked up Glory Revealed from the FC store in Cary. Couldn't figure out how to use that GR online coupon on their website, or I would have probably just ordered both GR and CV1 at the same time online. But I had to mention that GR was on sale on the website when I went to the store, since they had it tagged at full price on the shelf. So between that and the $5 off, GR ran me all of $3.99. :) (another big thank you to NC 3D Fan for pointing out the sale/coupon deal, I always love a bargain. :) )

But so far as CV1, since they had the "instant gratification" stream, I went with the cheapest Economy shipping option. It'll take it a lot longer to get here, but since I can listen to it whenever I want to before then, all I'll be missing is the DVD, which I usually don't sit down and watch immediately when it first comes in anyway. :)

Glory Revealed was tagged at $13.99 when I bought mine at Family Christian, but did ring up at sale price of $8.99 and after the $5.00 coupon, the total cost was $4.28 ($3.99 plus tax). I was amused by the sales lady who kept looking for some language on the coupon that stated it was only able to be used on the CD at regular price. Since it didn't, I was able to buy GR at a fantastic price!
